Key Responsibilities
As a Senior UX Designer at Google, your responsibilities will include:
- Drive the end-to-end UX design strategy for Workspace’s commerce and monetization experiences.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to align UX initiatives with key business goals like user engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Create detailed wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes to communicate design direction.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, research, and content strategy teams to launch elegant, high-quality product experiences.
- Build scalable solutions across multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, web) using Google’s design language and UI patterns.
- Take ownership of the Workspace buying and upgrade experience roadmap, and contribute to the larger Google UX strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in product or interaction design.
- Proven experience designing across multiple platforms and creating high-fidelity UI deliverables.
- Strong hands-on skills using tools like Figma to design, iterate, and prototype.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or MBA with a design/UX specialization.
- Experience designing consumer-grade enterprise software or SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with front-end code, no-code tools, or AI-based UX design technologies.
- A strategic thinker with a builder mindset, able to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent visual design skills, prototyping ability, and business-driven design thinking.
