Key Responsibilities
👥 Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted HR leader, supporting business operations across multiple Indian states.
- Drive HR strategies and initiatives that align with Tesla’s mission and organizational goals.
- Deliver both strategic and tactical HR support in areas such as organizational design, compensation, and employee engagement.
🔍 Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Lead and resolve complex employee relations issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Guide and coach managers in performance management, conflict resolution, and team development.
- Maintain Tesla’s high standard of workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
💼 Talent Development & Change Management
- Partner with leadership on succession planning, talent reviews, and learning & development.
- Influence organizational change and build structures that support scale and agility.
- Support HR programs including merit cycles, talent acquisition alignment, and onboarding strategies.
🤝 HR Compliance & Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal HR COEs including Compensation, Benefits, Immigration, and Employee Relations teams.
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with Indian employment laws and regulations.
- Continuously improve HR processes to deliver a world-class employee experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- ✅ 8+ years of HR experience in roles such as HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or People Operations Lead
- ✅ Proven ability to coach employees and managers through complex situations
- ✅ In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance standards
- ✅ Strong experience in organizational development, change management, and talent programs
- ✅ Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- ✅ High emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, and trust-building abilities
- ✅ Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making
- ✅ Fluent in English and local regional languages
- ✅ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
