Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Guidewire Policy Center Consultant at EY, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support and maintenance for Guidewire Policy Center.
- Managing Guidewire Policy Center configurations and enhancements.
- Designing, modifying, and implementing Guidewire solutions.
- Conducting root cause analysis, defect fixes, testing, and deployments.
- Supporting rotational shifts and on-call duties.
- Handling incident management and problem resolution within SLAs.
- Collaborating with global EY teams and stakeholders on insurance technology solutions.
Skills & Expertise Required
- Guidewire Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center framework, architecture, and components.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Policy Center 9.0+ and certifications (technical/functional/cloud).
- Expertise in Gosu scripting, UI, data model, and rules implementation.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, web services (SOAP/REST), XML, Spring, Hibernate, SQL.
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, SoapUI, Eclipse IDE, SVN, Jenkins.
- Working knowledge of Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic servers.
- Exposure to enterprise messaging systems.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with service management, change management, and release planning.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and on-call support environments.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6–8 years of IT experience with specialization in Guidewire Policy Center.
- Relevant Guidewire certifications (PC 9.0+ preferred).
