Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Executive – Debt Management Services, you will:
- Achieve and exceed debt recovery targets through direct customer and agency interactions
- Monitor collection performance against KPIs and provide regular status updates
- Ensure strict adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines during asset repossession
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer communications and transactions
- Generate timely reports on collection activities, portfolio status, and recovery progress
- Manage and resolve escalations efficiently to protect business interests
- Handle Daily Risk Reports (DRR) and ensure risk mitigation strategies are implemented
- Develop and apply innovative debt collection strategies to improve recovery rates
- Track cases on an individual basis and ensure timely resolution aligned with Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Manage portfolios, vendor relationships, and coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Support compliance reporting and data analysis for management reviews
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of debt collection processes and portfolio management
- Ability to analyze trends and generate MIS reports for data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for customer and partner interactions
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and legal aspects of debt recovery
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
- Proactive problem solver with a focus on achieving targets and deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with vendors, agencies, and cross-functional teams
- Basic computer proficiency including MS Office and dashboard tools
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years experience in debt collection, recovery, or financial services
- Educational qualification: Minimum qualification as per company standards (preferably Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
- Previous exposure to car finance recovery or financial compliance is a plus
