Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Executive – Business Valuations at Deloitte India, you will:

• Develop and review valuation models across a variety of industries and entity sizes
• Support complex valuation assignments such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, and dispute valuations
• Analyze financial statements, accounting records, and industry data to provide detailed valuation insights
• Perform purchase price allocation and goodwill impairment testing according to IFRS and other accounting standards
• Collaborate with global Deloitte teams and client stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality service delivery
• Guide, mentor, and review the work of junior team members to foster team growth
• Utilize financial research tools including Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and Thomson Reuters for accurate market and company data
• Prepare clear, client-focused valuation reports and presentations

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

• CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA qualification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant valuation and financial advisory experience, ideally within a Big 4 or leading investment bank
• Strong knowledge of financial and valuation principles, including purchase price allocation and impairment testing
• Expertise in building advanced financial models using Excel
• Proficiency with financial data research tools like Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, Thomson Reuters
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong client management and interpersonal skills
