Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer – PDU Division, you will:
- Design and create GA drawings based on customer specifications.
- Develop electrical schematics and Bill of Materials (BOM) for power distribution systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to finalize electrical designs.
- Work extensively with Autodesk Inventor to create and modify 3D & 2D models.
- Manage mechanical assembly designs and parts procurement models.
- Utilize Autodesk Vault for BOM management, drawing revisions, and change analysis.
- Develop SOPs and Work Instructions for PDU assembly and testing processes.
- Perform electrical and functional testing of PDUs, including Hi-Pot tests.
- Ensure compliance with PDU assembly standards and regulations.
- Review 3D model assemblies and conduct exploded view analysis at the component level.
- Coordinate with sites and customers for process transitions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in EEE, ECE, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–7 years of experience in PDU design engineering or manufacturing setup.
- Expertise in electrical schematics, BoM creation, and electrical wiring.
- Knowledge of switchgear, busbars, breakers, and electrical panels.
- Strong skills in mechanical assembly design and 3D modeling.
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing and functional verification of PDU products.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word).
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
