Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale data gathering, mining, and processing initiatives to build robust data models supporting business goals.
- Drive the implementation and promotion of semantic data capabilities using Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning, and deep learning techniques.
- Define analytical requirements, scope data science projects, and deliver actionable business insights through advanced data visualization tools.
- Research and optimize data models and algorithms to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data-driven solutions.
- Develop and execute the Generative AI (Gen AI) strategy aligning with business needs, including governance and use case prioritization.
- Build and lead high-performing teams of data scientists and prompt engineers to deliver innovative AI-driven projects.
Essential Skills & Expertise
Business Statistics & Data Analysis
- Strong knowledge of statistical tools and methodologies for business decision-making.
- Expertise in interpreting data distributions, sample sizes, and statistical significance.
Machine Learning & AI
- Proven experience with machine learning frameworks and generative AI applications such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Proficient in Python and SQL for data manipulation and algorithm development.
Data Processing & Accuracy
- High attention to detail in processing large volumes of data with precision and quality assurance best practices.
Programming & Query Languages
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and other programming languages relevant to data science and AI.
- Skilled in writing and optimizing complex queries involving multiple datasets.
Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving
- Ability to analyze complex problems using logical frameworks and statistical tools.
- Skilled at identifying root causes and proposing innovative solutions.
Communication & Leadership
- Effectively present technical findings to management and stakeholders using clear data visualization and reporting.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring data professionals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in data science, with 5+ years focused on data processing and machine learning frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning, and advanced analytics.
- Expertise with Python and SQL for data analysis and model development.
