Key Responsibilities
As a Senior – Data Analytics Consultant at EY, your role will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data requirements.
- Developing interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI (and other tools like Tableau, Spotfire, QlikView).
- Building data-driven reports and KPIs to deliver actionable insights.
- Performing data cleansing, transformation, and integration to ensure accuracy.
- Conducting in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities.
- Designing and optimizing ETL workflows using Alteryx and other tools.
- Presenting insights through data storytelling and visualization best practices.
- Supporting stakeholders in decision-making through meaningful reporting.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (mandatory).
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.
- ETL expertise with tools like Alteryx Designer.
- Advanced MS Excel including pivot tables, VBA, and formulas.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Spotfire, or QlikView is a plus.
- Analytics & Visualization:
- Strong ability to design intuitive dashboards and KPIs.
- Experience in custom visualization and advanced charting.
- Data storytelling and presentation skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Problem-solving with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in global teams and adapt to different time zones.
Qualifications
- Education:
- B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech./MCA in Computer Science or IT
- OR Accounting graduates/postgraduates with experience in business analytics
- Experience:
- 3–5 years in data analytics and visualization.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality analytics projects.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, or Qlik certifications.
- Alteryx certification is highly desirable.
