Key Responsibilities
- Lead testing execution for SAP S/4HANA modules including GL, FPSL, Tax, Reporting, and CDS Views.
- Define and maintain master test strategy, test scope, and release-specific test plans.
- Establish entry/exit criteria and oversee SIT, UAT, E2E, and regression phases.
- Ensure complete traceability of test cases to business requirements using ALM/JIRA and RTM.
- Validate inbound/outbound interfaces and data integrity across financial systems.
- Manage defect lifecycle, including triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
- Provide QA sign-off, test summary reports, and Go-Live readiness documentation.
- Report KPIs, test coverage, and quality metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with business SMEs, developers, and functional leads for process validation.
- Mentor QA team members and enforce process adherence.
- Drive continuous improvement via retrospectives and lessons learned.
Skills & Attributes for Success
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA testing lifecycle and QA processes.
- Proficiency in ALM, JIRA Zephyr, and traceability tools.
- Deep understanding of audit compliance, risk-based testing, and financial systems.
- Experience working in insurance, regulatory, or financial domains.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Required:
- 10+ years of experience in software testing with 3+ years as a Test Manager.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA modules (GL, FPSL, Tax, Reporting, CDS Views).
- Expertise in QA processes, risk management, and audit compliance.
- Preferred:
- Experience in financial systems, insurance domain, or regulatory compliance projects.
- Familiarity with automation, performance testing, and data validation tools.
- Exposure to technology strategy and transformation projects.
