About the Role
As a Senior SAP EWM ABAP Consultant at EY, you will design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP solutions tailored to Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). Your expertise will drive efficiency in warehouse operations, real-time data processing, and system integrations. This role allows you to work on complex SAP landscapes while collaborating with global teams to deliver transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and optimize SAP ABAP applications with a strong focus on SAP EWM.
- Implement and support warehouse processes using EWM frameworks and solutions.
- Work with EWM Object-Oriented Framework, ITS Mobile, EWM RF, PPF Action Framework, and Monitor Framework.
- Build and maintain interfaces including IDocs, QRFC, and PLC messaging.
- Develop and enhance solutions using OOPS ABAP, EWM BADI, ECC BADI, and Smart Forms.
- Contribute to Value-Added Services (VAS) projects such as Kitting (KTS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless SAP integration across modules.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP development (5–8 years).
- Proven SAP EWM expertise (3–5 years minimum).
- Advanced skills in object-oriented programming (OOPS ABAP).
- Hands-on experience with RF frameworks, PPF actions, and monitor setups.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with global teams.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–8 years in SAP ABAP with at least 3–5 years in SAP EWM.
- Education: Graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Exposure to VAS – Kitting (KTS) is an added advantage.
