About the Role
As a SAP FICO Manager at EY, you will be responsible for end-to-end SAP Finance and Controlling implementations, leading global consulting projects, and managing teams of 10–15 professionals. This role involves designing, rolling out, supporting, and upgrading SAP FICO solutions, with strong integration across MM, SD, HR, and PS modules. You will also engage with clients directly, providing consulting expertise while ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SAP Finance and Controlling projects across multiple phases – implementation, rollout, support, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Lead a team of 10–15 consultants in delivering client-focused SAP solutions.
- Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Handle business process mapping, reporting, and integration of SAP FICO with MM, SD, HR, and PS.
- Provide status reporting, stakeholder communication, and project documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of SAP FICO experience with strong finance/domain knowledge.
- End-to-end expertise in:
- FI (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting)
- SAP Simple Finance – GL Accounting, Asset Accounting
- CO (Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Overhead Cost Controlling, CO-PA, Product Costing)
- Finance – Taxation, Withholding Taxes, Validations, Substitutions, and Closing Activities
- Strong experience with SAP FICO integration (MM, SD, HR, PS).
- Proven project management experience, including team leadership.
- Excellent business communication and consulting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SAP BPC (Consolidation), SOX, US GAAP, and SAP Reporting tools (Report Painter, Report Writer).
- Experience with FIORI Apps, BO-DS, BW, HANA.
- Functional and technical upgrade background.
- SAP Finance/Controlling certifications are a plus.
- Prior client-facing consulting experience is highly valued.
Qualifications
- Education: CA, ICWA (ICMA), or MBA Finance from a reputed institution.
- Strong industry/domain expertise with hands-on SAP FICO project exposure.
