Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant – Procurement & Supply Chain at Deloitte, you will:
Procurement Execution & Sourcing
- Lead and manage sourcing events (RFP/RFQ/RFI) across multiple categories (IT, Facilities, Real Estate, etc.).
- Manage invoice reconciliation and accounts payable processes.
- Release purchase orders (POs) outside ERP environments, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
- Drive vendor consolidation and cost optimization initiatives.
Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while scouting for new suppliers.
- Conduct vendor evaluations and lead rationalization programs.
- Support due diligence and contracting with Legal and Finance teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Legal on contract negotiation and compliance.
- Work with Finance on budgeting, PO tracking, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with Audit and Risk teams to ensure governance and compliance.
Process & Governance
- Contribute to procurement process optimization and SOP/workflow design.
- Ensure accurate documentation and approvals for all procurement activities.
- Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics for procurement operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in procurement execution, sourcing, and vendor management.
- Hands-on experience with RFP, RFI, RFQ processes across categories.
- Knowledge of AP/Invoice reconciliation and PO management.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Audit).
- Strong understanding of procurement governance, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
