About the Role

As a Senior Consultant – Solutions Developer, you’ll work closely with state government departments to design, implement, and optimize large-scale e-Governance systems. You will contribute to financial and administrative digital transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless integration across finance, treasury, and budget systems.

This role requires strong domain expertise in government financial processes, hands-on experience with e-Governance technology frameworks, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development & Implementation

• Design and develop e-Governance solutions focused on financial and administrative management systems.
• Contribute to system architecture, workflow mapping, and process automation for IFMS/IFMIS/PFMS/Treasury applications.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure alignment between technical design and functional requirements.

Domain Expertise

• Leverage strong domain knowledge in public financial management systems (PFMS, Treasury, Budget Management, Works Systems).
• Support implementation and integration of modules within government ERP environments.
• Apply understanding of government finance structures, audit processes, and operational workflows.

Stakeholder & Project Management

• Collaborate with government departments, IT vendors, and Deloitte’s cross-functional teams.
• Support project documentation, presentations, and stakeholder reporting.
• Participate in requirement gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training sessions.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to project governance, data integrity, and compliance with government regulations.
• Contribute to process reengineering and improvement initiatives aligned with digital governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in e-Governance, ERP, or public financial management systems.
• Hands-on experience in large-scale government projects involving financial management or treasury operations.
• Deep understanding of IFMS, IFMIS, PFMS, SNA-SPARSH, Treasury, and Budget systems.
• Strong knowledge of state government finance departments and their functioning.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships, communicate effectively, and work in cross-functional teams.
• Must be willing to relocate to Chhattisgarh for project deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or Public Administration.
• Experience working with the Finance Department of a state government (preferred).
• Familiarity with public sector ERP systems, financial data workflows, or government audit systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
