About the Role
As a Senior SAP SD Consultant, you’ll be responsible for delivering top-tier SAP solutions across sales and distribution functions. Your primary responsibilities include end-to-end SAP SD implementations, managing order-to-cash cycles, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring smooth go-live transitions.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients, lead business process mapping sessions, and execute system configuration with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full-cycle SAP SD implementations, including configuration and go-live support.
- Map client business processes to SAP SD functionalities.
- Configure SAP SD modules for:
- Order Management
- Pricing and Billing
- Delivery and Shipment Processing
- Credit Management and Returns
- Integrate SAP SD with related modules like MM, EWM, and FI.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage issue logs, and provide support during cutover and go-live.
- Upload stock and master data using SAP standard tools/templates.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve functional and technical issues.
Candidate Profile & Required Skills
- 6–10 years of experience in SAP SD implementation and configuration.
- Proven track record of at least 1–2 full-lifecycle SAP SD projects.
- Strong understanding of order-to-cash (O2C) processes.
- Hands-on experience in data migration, pricing procedures, and document flows.
- Ability to manage deliverables independently and solve complex business issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to relocate or travel to Pune or client sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, or Science from a reputed institute.
- SAP SD certification is a plus.
- Experience working in industries such as automotive, spare parts, or manufacturing is preferred.
