About the Role
As a Senior Consultant – SAP PRA, you will lead functional analysis, configuration, and implementation of SAP Production Revenue Accounting solutions. Your focus will be on aligning SAP PRA modules with client business goals, especially in the oil & gas sector. This includes setting up revenue distribution, royalty processing, ownership management, and joint venture financials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end SAP PRA implementations.
- Configure PRA modules for:
- Revenue Distribution
- Ownership Allocation
- Royalty Accounting
- Joint Venture Accounting
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Map business processes to SAP PRA functionalities and recommend best-fit solutions.
- Perform data conversion, system testing, user training, and go-live support.
- Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvements.
- Integrate SAP PRA with other modules (SAP FI, CO, JVA, etc.).
- Prepare detailed documentation, functional specifications, and user guides.
Required Skills
- Deep knowledge of SAP PRA modules, particularly in upstream oil & gas.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Revenue and royalty processing
- Contractual ownership and division of interest (DOI)
- Master data configuration for wells, cost centers, and partners
- Strong understanding of industry-specific challenges and compliance requirements.
- Experience integrating SAP PRA with SAP FI/CO/JVA and third-party systems.
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders across regions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Commerce from a reputed institution.
- 6–10 years of experience in SAP PRA or SAP Oil & Gas modules.
- SAP PRA certification preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for client engagements.
- Previous consulting experience in energy, resources, or utilities sectors is a plus.
