Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant – SAP PP, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing SAP Production Planning modules that align with business objectives. You’ll play a key role in end-to-end project delivery, from requirement gathering and system configuration to post-go-live support.
You will collaborate with functional teams including SAP MM, SD, QM, and WM to ensure seamless integration across supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business requirements for SAP Production Planning (PP).
- Configure SAP PP modules including BOMs, routings, work centers, demand management, and MRP.
- Integrate SAP PP with MM, SD, QM, and WM modules for complete process automation.
- Participate in the full project lifecycle – design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Manage change requests and incident resolution while ensuring compliance with SAP best practices.
- Prepare functional and technical documentation for configuration and process flows.
- Provide user training, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement support.
- Work with clients to optimize production workflows and enhance system performance.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting SAP PP (Production Planning) solutions.
- Strong understanding of MRP, production scheduling, and capacity planning.
- Hands-on experience in SAP configuration, integration, and testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional environments and deliver under tight timelines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in S/4HANA implementation or migration.
- Knowledge of SAP MES or manufacturing execution systems.
- Familiarity with Fiori apps and user experience enhancement tools.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in SAP project delivery.
