Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute SAP GTS implementations, configurations, and maintenance for Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Trade Preference modules.
• Configure critical SAP GTS elements including General Settings, Feeder Systems, Document Structures, and Legal Regulations.
• Manage customs declaration processes for import/export operations, including handling UK Customs, German Customs (ATLAS), and AES systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring alignment between business requirements and SAP system architecture.
• Provide solution performance analysis, tuning, and collaborate across business and technical teams for seamless integration.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and knowledge-sharing materials for complex SAP GTS functionalities.
• Support on-call rotations and flexible shifts to address business needs promptly.
• Deliver strong customer service through effective communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.

Essential Skills & Expertise

• Proven 5-8 years of functional experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) implementation and support.
• Expertise in Compliance Management (Sanctioned Party List Screening, Embargo, Export/Import Legal Control), Customs Management, and Bonded Warehouse functionalities.
• Hands-on configuration skills in SAP GTS General Settings such as FTO, Legal Units, Document Types, Partner Types, and Item Categories.
• In-depth knowledge of Customs Declaration Processing, including Import and Export processes across multiple countries.
• Understanding of Product Classification (HTS/Commodity codes), Trade Document Services, and electronic communication protocols.
• Basic debugging skills in SAP ABAP preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC and CRM integration with SAP GTS and other SAP interfaces.
• Strong verbal and written English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead or collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• 5-8 years of SAP GTS domain expertise with proven track record in implementation or support roles.
