Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant – SAP BTP, you will:
- Develop and deploy cloud-native business applications using SAP BTP, CAPM, and Node.js/Java.
- Build Core Data Services (CDS) models and expose services via OData/REST APIs.
- Configure and integrate SAP BTP services including HANA Cloud, XSUAA, Destination, Connectivity.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and clients to design scalable solutions.
- Develop Fiori/UI5 applications integrated with CAPM backend services.
- Ensure application quality through automated testing and peer reviews.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, Cloud Foundry, or Kyma runtime for deployments.
- Follow SAP clean core and side-by-side extension principles for S/4HANA.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of software development, including 2–3 years in SAP BTP & CAPM.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud, CAPM architecture, CDS modeling, OData V4.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js or Java, API development, Git-based version control.
- Exposure to SAP Extension Suite and cloud-native development practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for client-facing engagements.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certification: SAP BTP Extension Developer or equivalent.
- Experience with SAP Fiori Elements, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Docker.
- Knowledge of ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Prior consulting experience or involvement in S/4HANA extension projects.
