About the Role

As a Senior Consultant – Project Management (PMO), you will play a key role in driving Deloitte’s client engagements by supporting project governance, business analysis, and execution across complex financial transformation programs. You’ll act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.

You’ll be working on high-visibility initiatives such as legacy system decommissioning, UAT coordination, and data migration readiness, while ensuring global compliance and risk standards are met.


Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

  • Manage and execute end-to-end project plans for capital market and financial transformation programs.
  • Oversee PMO processes, timelines, and deliverables to ensure project success.
  • Track project milestones and report progress using JIRA and Confluence.

Business Analysis & Documentation

  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process flows, and test scenarios.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across global time zones for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Risk & Transition Management

  • Support legacy system decommissioning and ensure business continuity during transitions.
  • Identify project risks and dependencies, providing proactive mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and deliver clear project updates, dashboards, and reports for leadership.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–6 years in Project Management, PMO, or Business Analysis, preferably in capital markets or financial services.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong hands-on experience with Excel, JIRA, and Confluence.
    • Experience coordinating UAT and managing multi-project environments.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong stakeholder management and analytical thinking.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Exposure to legacy system decommissioning projects.
  • Familiarity with risk management, compliance, and regulatory frameworks in capital markets.
  • Understanding of Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum preferred.
