Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant – Project Management, you will:
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
- Define milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Manage project execution while ensuring compliance with agreed timelines.
- Track and monitor progress, identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams.
- Drive effective communication between stakeholders and team members.
- Conduct regular meetings and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Resolve conflicts and keep teams motivated toward project goals.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Provide transparent updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Manage expectations to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Risk & Compliance
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle.
- Escalate issues promptly when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with Deloitte’s quality and risk management standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain updated project documentation.
- Prepare detailed status reports for leadership and clients.
- Leverage project management tools for efficient tracking and reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 7–12 years of project management experience across industries.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end with successful delivery.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholder management expertise.
Good-to-Have:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications.
- Experience in consulting or large-scale transformation projects.
- Exposure to digital transformation, analytics, or technology-driven initiatives.
