Key Responsibilities
Capital Project Management & Execution
- Manage end-to-end construction project lifecycle: planning, monitoring, inter-discipline coordination, and resource allocation.
- Lead integrated L3 schedule preparation and periodic updates using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Projects.
- Analyze project schedules to identify delays or bottlenecks and develop mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder & Risk Management
- Advise on industry best practices, risk identification, and mitigation plans.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear communication across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Lead discussions with contractors to review progress, address challenges, and align on corrective actions.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare and present MIS reports with key action points to project managers.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project sequencing, durations, dependencies, and resource needs to maintain timeline adherence.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering from Tier 1/2 institutions.
- Postgraduate qualification preferred (MBA or Diploma in Construction Management).
- 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in capital or infrastructure projects, ideally in manufacturing plants or large industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and deliver results in dynamic project environments.
- Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities.
