Key Responsibilities

Payments Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Analyze and translate complex payments business requirements into effective, compliant technology solutions.
• Develop and manage Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Integration Requirement Documents, and User Stories.
• Map end-to-end payment processes including initiation, settlement, and reconciliation.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

• Collaborate with senior business leads, risk & compliance teams, and technology partners to design scalable payment solutions.
• Lead change adoption activities to embed new payment operating models and drive benefits realization.

Testing & Quality Assurance Support

• Support End-to-End testing cycles including SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for payments systems.
• Manage defect triaging and root cause analysis during testing phases.

Agile & Digital Transformation

• Utilize Agile methodology for requirement lifecycle management, backlog creation, and traceability.
• Produce clear and detailed artifacts such as BDD user stories, flow diagrams, and Confluence documentation.

Risk Management & Continuous Learning

• Identify and mitigate risks related to payment services and performance proactively.
• Stay updated on emerging payment trends, technologies, and AI-driven innovations to enhance Deloitte’s payment solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in payments business analysis or payments product management.
• Strong knowledge of payments lifecycle: SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS, real-time payments (e.g., UK Faster Payments, Australia NPP), and local clearing systems such as NEFT, IMPS.
• Hands-on experience with payments products like Finastra GPP, ACI UPF, Fiserv Dovetail, FIS C2P OPF, IBM FTM, ICON Solutions.
• Proven expertise in drafting Business Requirement Documents, User Stories, Process Maps, and Agile project artifacts.
• Experience in functional support during SIT, UAT, defect analysis, and triaging.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Business fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with additional banking domains (Lending, Core Banking, Cards, Trade Finance) is a plus.
