Summary

Join Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP as a Senior Consultant – Oracle Retail Tech (OCRP) in Coimbatore, where you’ll help global retail clients modernize and transform their business operations using the Oracle Retail suite.
This position is ideal for experienced Oracle Retail Consultants or Techno-Functional Professionals with 2–10 years of experience in Oracle Retail modules such as RMS, ReIM, RPM, Allocations, RIB, and SIM.

You’ll play a key role in delivering Oracle Retail implementation, upgrade, and support projects, working in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment that encourages growth, learning, and impact.

About the Role

As a Senior Oracle Retail Consultant, you’ll lead and deliver Oracle Retail implementation and support projects, leveraging both technical and functional expertise to create efficient, future-ready retail solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, design scalable systems, and ensure high-quality delivery across project lifecycles.

This role offers opportunities to work across multiple Oracle Retail modules, engage in end-to-end implementations, and drive innovation and automation in retail transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to Oracle Retail implementation, upgrade, and support projects.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements and design tailored Oracle Retail solutions.
• Configure and develop solutions across Oracle Retail modules such as RMS (MFCS), ReIM (IMCS), ReSA (SACS), RTM, RPM (PCS), Allocations, RIB (RICS), and SIM (SIOCS).
• Create and update functional and technical specification documents to meet project and client needs.
• Design and develop code using Apex, SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C, ADF, and Unix shell scripting.
• Participate in Agile project delivery, ensuring timely execution of deliverables.
• Provide expert techno-functional support, resolving issues and improving application performance.
• Suggest customizations and performance enhancements for optimal Oracle Retail system efficiency.
• Collaborate on documentation and prepare user guides, training materials, and solution blueprints.
• Support knowledge-sharing initiatives within Deloitte’s Oracle practice to promote continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–10 years of experience in Oracle Retail consulting, implementation, and support.
• Strong techno-functional expertise in Oracle Retail modules (RMS, RPM, ReIM, RIB, SIM, etc.).
• Proficiency in Apex, SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C, ADF, Unix shell scripting, and batch processing.
• Experience in 1–2 full-cycle Oracle Retail implementations.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and client communication skills.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven ability to collaborate across global teams and deliver results in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Retail Cloud implementations.
• Exposure to Microservices, OIC, and integration frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and modern delivery practices.
• Ability to design and deliver cost-effective, scalable Oracle Retail solutions.
• A customer-first mindset with the ability to align solutions to business goals.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech, M.Tech, MS, or MBA in Engineering, Technology, or Business disciplines.
• Certifications (Preferred): Oracle Retail or Oracle Cloud certifications.
• Travel: Willingness to travel for client engagements across India or globally, as required.
