Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant in the Oracle EBS team at Deloitte India, you will:
1. Oracle EBS Expertise & Implementation
- Lead and manage Oracle EBS R12.x implementations, with a focus on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, and Cost Management.
- Develop and maintain Oracle Financials solutions, ensuring high efficiency and minimal errors in financial reporting and data analysis.
- Configure P2P and O2C cycles and facilitate seamless integration of Order Management (OM), Shipping Execution, and Invoice Matching.
2. Business & Functional Process Consulting
- Provide consulting services to clients, offering valuable insights into financial operations, GST/VAT, taxation (e.g., Withholding Tax or TDS).
- Implement and customize Oracle EBS Finance Modules to meet client-specific needs.
- Analyze client needs, suggest improvements, and ensure effective system setup, from purchase requisition to invoice matching.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare critical documentation including BR100, Test Scripts, User Manuals, and FRS to guide clients through the implementation phase.
- Ensure that clients have detailed and accurate manuals for ongoing operations and troubleshooting.
4. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work
- Work closely with supply chain and production teams to enhance integration between financial operations and manufacturing processes like WIP accounting and standard costing.
- Deliver high-quality solutions, working collaboratively with project teams to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.

The ideal Senior Consultant will have:
Educational Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
Professional Experience
- 5-10+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle EBS R12.x finance modules, particularly in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cash Management.
- Expertise in P2P (Procure-to-Pay) and O2C (Order-to-Cash) cycles.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and experience working with financial data analysis tools.
- Proven experience in Oracle Financials configuration and support, including SQL and database knowledge.
Core Skills
- Proficiency in Oracle EBS R12.x financial modules.
- Strong understanding of taxation (GST/VAT, Withholding Tax) and financial controls.
- Experience with SQL and data analysis tools to optimize financial operations and reporting.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead multiple project workstreams.
