Key Responsibilities
As a Senior .NET Consultant at Deloitte, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable C# and ASP.NET code.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and incorporate best practices.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and manage database interactions.
- Create technical documentation for application support and ongoing development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (5+ years) in Microsoft web development using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core.
- Hands-on experience with Web API and RESTful services.
- Proficiency in SQL Server and database design.
- Familiarity with Entity Framework or similar ORM tools.
- Strong front-end knowledge: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular or React (preferred).
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
- Strong communication and team collaboration capabilities.
Bonus/Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Equivalent hands-on experience in software engineering will also be considered.
