Role Overview

As a Senior Consultant – APM: IT PM in the Finance Transformation vertical, you’ll be responsible for supporting and streamlining project delivery operations, including planning, governance, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder alignment. You will act as a bridge between technical and business functions, ensuring that project management office (PMO) standards are upheld and financial transformation goals are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Project Delivery & Methodology

• Apply both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Assist in project setup and ensure alignment with delivery standards and Deloitte’s PMO framework.
• Support the development and maintenance of project documents including:
  • Project Charter
  • Project Plans and Schedules
  • Risk & Issue Logs
  • Stakeholder Maps
  • Communication Strategies

✅ Governance & Reporting

• Ensure project governance protocols are followed.
• Drive process standardization across engagements.
• Deliver fit-for-purpose reports and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.
• Track project scope changes, status updates, and risk logs.

✅ Financial & Resource Management

• Support resource allocation, tracking, and utilization optimization.
• Coordinate invoicing, billing, and cost control.
• Assist in budget forecasting and variance analysis.

✅ Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Work with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR.
• Understand tools like IAM (Identity Access Management) and DLP (Data Loss Prevention).
• Ensure project compliance with cybersecurity and data protection standards.

✅ Knowledge Management & PMO Operations

• Promote knowledge sharing through templates, repositories, and training.
• Maintain project documentation integrity and control versions.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding of project team members.
• Facilitate use of PMO toolkits and dashboards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✔️ Minimum Requirements:

• 2–4 years of total experience in IT project environments.
• At least 1–2 years in a PMO function supporting enterprise-level projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech); MBA is an advantage.

✔️ Must-Have Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and governance processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity tools and compliance.
• Proficiency in tools like MS Project, Excel, and PM dashboards.
