Deloitte India is hiring a Senior Consultant / Manager – Golang Developer to join our Technology & Transformation (T&T) practice in Bengaluru. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions, implementing APIs, event-driven architectures, and leveraging modern DevOps and microservices frameworks.
As a Golang Developer and integration specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate business processes, enhance system efficiency, and deliver high-quality solutions. Ideal candidates have experience in cloud-native development, API integration, event streaming platforms (Kafka), and CI/CD automation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Golang, Node.js, and cloud-native frameworks.
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate services using event streaming platforms (Kafka).
- Configure automation processes and maintain workflows that are scalable and maintainable.
- Analyze existing systems and facilitate structured change management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and UAT environments.
- Maintain proper documentation, including test procedures, user manuals, and process flows.
- Collaborate with process owners, business teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Apply DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) for deployment.
- Monitor and optimize application performance in cloud environments.
- Ensure adherence to agile software development methodologies and DevOps best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Golang, Node.js, Java, Python
- Hands-on experience with API Managers (Kong preferred)
- Experience in event streaming and processing (Kafka)
- AWS cloud development and ecosystem knowledge
- CI/CD and DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Codefresh, Docker, Kubernetes
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform
- Test-Driven Development (TDD) and microservices architecture
- Scripting: Bash, Terraform
- Debugging and performance optimization in cloud-native environments
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to document integration flows and technical specifications
- Agile mindset with experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Desired Qualifications
