Key Responsibilities
As a QA Senior Consultant, you will:
- Lead functional testing efforts across multiple software applications and platforms.
- Perform web, UI, API, regression, smoke, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Write comprehensive test cases, execute test scripts, and log defects effectively.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams in agile environments.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for continuous quality assurance.
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and ensure issues are addressed quickly.
- Maintain and enhance test plans, strategies, and QA documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with manual and functional testing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of QA best practices, bug life cycle, and SDLC.
- Hands-on knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development frameworks.
- Skilled in writing and executing detailed test scripts and scenarios.
- Analytical thinking and excellent attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant QA or software testing experience.
- Prior experience in at least two end-to-end QA projects.
- Based in or willing to work from Mumbai (Hybrid model).
- Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
