Role Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Developer (React + Node/NestJS) at Deloitte, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end web applications using the latest technologies in front-end and back-end development. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to create robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions aligned with client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, and NestJS.
• Build dynamic and responsive UI components using React + TypeScript and Tailwind CSS (or similar).
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js/Express and integrate them with MongoDB Atlas.
• Ensure scalable and maintainable architecture across application layers.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated builds and deployments.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE/AKS) to containerize and deploy applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, DevOps, QA, and product managers) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure high code quality, and adhere to Deloitte’s engineering best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development using React and Node.js/NestJS.
• In-depth understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end architectures.
• Strong experience in REST API design, data modeling, and MongoDB Atlas.
• Working knowledge of containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE/AKS).
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD pipeline automation tools.
• Solid grasp of software design principles, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, or microfrontend architectures.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in developing enterprise-scale full-stack applications.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) or DevOps tools are an advantage.
