EY is hiring a Senior Consultant – FS SaT (S&E Corporate Strategy) in Mumbai, India. This role targets professionals with 3–5 years of experience in financial services consulting, corporate strategy, or fintech advisory, who are passionate about financial services transformation, Commercial Due Diligence (CDD), and strategy execution. As part of EY’s Strategy and Transactions Corporate Strategy (SaT S&E) practice, you will lead workstreams on complex FS projects, mentor junior analysts, and engage with client stakeholders, helping clients optimize portfolios, reimagine ecosystems, and drive sustainable value creation. Key Responsibilities
- Own workstreams on complex financial services strategy and transformation programs.
- Support Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) for investors and corporates, linking market insights to actionable initiatives.
- Lead workstreams such as distribution strategy, operating model redesign, cost optimization, and CDD modules (market sizing, competitive benchmarking, synergy assessment).
- Translate hypotheses into structured analyses and pressure-test assumptions with client SMEs and investors.
- Build integrated financial and operational models, size initiatives, and quantify benefits.
- Co-facilitate client workshops, manage risks, interdependencies, and work plans.
- Coach and mentor junior team members and contribute to proposals, PoVs, and case studies.

Qualifications
- 3–5 years in consulting or corporate strategy within financial services/fintech.
- Exposure to Commercial Due Diligence, transaction advisory, or strategic transformation projects is a plus.
- Deep knowledge in two or more FS domains (e.g., retail/MSME lending, cards/payments, deposits & liabilities, insurance, wealth/asset management).
- Understanding of India FS regulatory environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/PGDM strongly preferred.
