Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Architect end-to-end Order Management System (OMS) solutions covering order orchestration, sourcing, payment processing, and reverse logistics.
- Define scalable, secure, and high-performance OMS system architecture aligned with business objectives.
System Integration & Development
- Develop and execute integration strategies with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, eCommerce platforms, and payment gateways.
- Utilize APIs, RESTful and SOAP web services for seamless data exchange across systems.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and best practice advisories to development teams on OMS configuration and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture and translate requirements into technical OMS solutions.
Performance & Optimization
- Monitor and troubleshoot OMS performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement proactive improvements to enhance OMS efficiency and scalability.
Continuous Learning & Innovation
- Stay updated on the latest OMS technologies, retail systems trends, cloud computing, and containerization.
- Drive adoption of emerging tech to maintain Deloitte’s leadership in digital transformation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven expertise in IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) architecture and development.
- Strong programming knowledge in Java, XML, XSLT, and experience with REST and SOAP web services.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of order lifecycle management, inventory control, and fulfillment strategies in retail or enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to lead teams, manage projects, and deliver high-quality OMS solutions on time.
