Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant – Embedded Software Engineer at Deloitte, you will:
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software solutions using C++ (14 and above) on Linux/QNX platforms.
- Apply a deep understanding of POSIX-based operating systems for safe and efficient system-level programming.
- Ensure compliance with MISRA coding standards for secure and reliable embedded development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance embedded systems.
- Use Bazel build systems to manage and scale software builds.
- Contribute to or integrate open-source projects where applicable.
- Mentor junior team members and drive best practices in secure coding and system design.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of embedded software development experience.
- Hands-on expertise in C++ (14 or newer) with Linux/QNX platforms.
- Strong knowledge of POSIX operating systems and embedded development practices.
- Familiarity with MISRA standards for safe and secure coding.
- Experience with Bazel builds.
- Business-fluent English communication skills (German language skills a plus).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Rust programming language.
