Summary

Deloitte India is seeking a Senior Consultant – DevOps Cloud Engineer in Bengaluru to drive cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and DevSecOps initiatives. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and securing CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native architectures, and containerized workloads for large-scale enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD security integrations, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities

1. DevSecOps Pipeline Integration

• Integrate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate vulnerability scanning for containers, images, and code repositories.
• Implement and manage secrets management solutions like HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or CyberArk.

2. Infrastructure & Cloud Security

• Design and implement secure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Enforce security controls across AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI environments.
• Configure firewalls, IAM roles, security groups, and network segmentation for secure deployments.

3. Compliance & Monitoring

• Establish logging and auditing frameworks using SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK, Sentinel).
• Implement automated compliance checks aligned with CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001, or PCI-DSS.
• Monitor pipelines and cloud environments for anomalies and security incidents.

4. Container & Kubernetes Security

• Secure containerized workloads on Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS/AKS/GKE.
• Implement policies using OPA/Gatekeeper, Kubernetes Pod Security Policies, or Kyverno.
• Apply image signing, runtime protection, and RBAC for Kubernetes clusters.

5. Collaboration & Enablement

• Partner with Infra, Security, and Engineering teams to shift-left security practices.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops on secure DevOps best practices.
• Contribute to internal security standards, guidelines, and documentation.

Required Skills

• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Scripting: Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• Cloud Security Tools: Trivy, Falco, kube-bench, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development practices, SDLC security, and DevOps principles.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering, with 2+ years in DevSecOps.
• Proven experience in implementing secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
