Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic studies to evaluate socio-economic conditions in mining-affected villages and assess the impact of government schemes.
- Lead participatory planning and needs assessment exercises with stakeholders.
- Evaluate project proposals from multiple stakeholders and recommend actionable interventions.
- Facilitate approval of Annual Action Plans in Executive Committees and Governing Boards.
- Oversee project implementation, including regular field visits to monitor progress and flag risks.
- Promote community-based monitoring tools, such as social audits, to track project outcomes.
- Conduct action-research to identify innovative approaches for improving government interventions.
- Document success stories, lessons learned, and measurable impacts of projects.
- Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree from a reputed institute with strong academic credentials.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in private, public, or non-profit sectors.
- At least 3 years of experience implementing government schemes/projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills (oral and written).
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple stakeholders efficiently.
- Agility, adaptability, and capacity to maintain positive energy in complex environments.
