Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant – Embedded AUTOSAR Developer at Deloitte, your role will include:

• Designing and developing embedded software using modern C++ in real-time operating environments
• Implementing and integrating AUTOSAR-based software solutions for automotive and embedded systems
• Working extensively on POSIX-compliant operating systems such as Linux and QNX
• Performing system programming and device driver development to enhance embedded platform capabilities
• Utilizing Yocto and OpenEmbedded for building customized Linux distributions tailored for embedded applications
• Managing source code efficiently using Git and other version control systems
• Contributing to open-source projects and engaging with the Linux community to stay current with best practices
• Debugging and troubleshooting complex embedded systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability

Essential Skills & Expertise

• Strong experience in C++ programming (object-oriented software development), preferably modern C++ standards
• Solid knowledge of POSIX operating systems—Linux and QNX preferred for embedded applications
• Practical experience with AUTOSAR architecture and real-time embedded system development
• Proficiency with Yocto/OpenEmbedded build systems for embedded Linux
• Expertise in system-level programming, including device drivers and system debugging techniques
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control for collaborative development
• Exposure to open-source contributions and active participation in relevant developer communities
• Excellent communication skills in English, with a collaborative team spirit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in embedded software development with C++ and real-time systems
• Demonstrated expertise in automotive software development using AUTOSAR standards
