Key Responsibilities
As an Automation Testing Consultant in Deloitte’s EAD team, your role will include:
- Design and develop automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
- Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain automation suites and optimize performance across releases.
- Implement best practices for test design, strategy, and governance.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Support manual testing as needed to ensure full coverage of quality requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–9 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Proficiency in TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Leadership experience or interest in mentoring automation teams (for senior roles).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with continuous integration and DevOps environments.
- Knowledge of API testing and performance testing tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and test automation at scale.
