About the Role
As a Senior Consultant in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) at Deloitte India, you’ll lead and drive the development of enterprise-grade web experiences. This is a full-stack role, requiring both front-end and back-end AEM expertise along with strong architectural understanding. You will design and deliver scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with other Adobe Experience Cloud products and third-party platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation of AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations
- Develop and maintain robust back-end (Java, OSGi, Sling) and front-end (HTML, CSS, JS, Sightly) functionalities
- Create low-level designs from high-level architectural documents
- Resolve server-side issues and troubleshoot AEM production environments
- Integrate AEM with external systems including CRMs, APIs, Search, Authentication, and Commerce Cloud
- Implement headless, headful, and hybrid CMS architectures as per business needs
- Work with dynamic media and Adobe Assets to build powerful marketing assets
- Ensure high code quality using tools like SonarQube, JUnit, and Mockito
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain strong client relationships
Required Skills & Expertise
- 6+ years of hands-on AEM experience, including both back-end and front-end development
- Strong understanding of Sling Models, OSGi, Java 8/11, Servlets, and Web Services
- Skilled in AEM front-end development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
- Proficient in DevOps tools: Maven, Git, Postman, and Cloud Manager
- Experienced in dynamic media, Adobe Asset, and marketing integrations
- Solid knowledge of AEM architecture, including Adobe Marketing Cloud integrations
- Exposure to Linux environments and command-line troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle client interactions independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field
- Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Adobe Experience Manager (Preferred)
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
- Working knowledge of headless CMS models and personalization strategies
