Summary
KPMG Global Services (KGS) is hiring a Senior – Audit to join its Audit team supporting Australian clients from Bangalore. This role is ideal for professionals with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in auditing, preferably with a Big 4 firm. The Senior will lead a small team, manage audit engagements, and liaise with onshore stakeholders in Australia. The position provides an excellent opportunity to gain international audit exposure, leadership experience, and in-depth knowledge of statutory financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage a team of 4–5 members, including fresh graduates and experienced professionals.
- Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to team members to enhance performance and development.
- Conduct performance reviews and track issue resolution within the team.
Audit & Client Engagement
- Audit financial statements of international clients and perform in-charge responsibilities.
- Act as the primary contact for onshore Australian departments and build strong client relationships.
- Monitor and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and agreed SLAs.
- Audit complex financial statement sections in compliance with country-specific statutory requirements.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate with clients and onshore teams to provide timely updates on audit progress.
- Maintain confidentiality of client data and ensure adherence to risk management policies.
- Review team outputs and provide timely feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (ICAI/ACCA).
Experience & Skills
- 1–3 years post-qualification experience in audit, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
- Strong knowledge of audit procedures, financial reporting standards, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent team management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure, international audit environments.
