Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage a team of 6–7 audit professionals, including graduates and experienced staff.
- Monitor work, provide guidance, and motivate the team to meet quality standards and SLAs.
- Assist seniors and AMs with team performance reviews, mentoring, and coaching.
Audit Engagement & Client Interaction
- Act as an active member of audit engagements, performing audit procedures and tests.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and onshore teams to provide progress updates.
- Audit complex sections of financial statements according to country-specific statutory requirements.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Identify and track issues or missing information, ensuring timely resolution.
- Uphold data confidentiality and adherence to risk management policies.
- Review the team’s work, provide constructive feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with onshore teams across multiple locations.
Skills & Competencies
Mandatory Skills
- Chartered Accountancy qualification (ICAI or ACCA).
- Strong understanding of financial statement audits, statutory compliance, and FS sector practices.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior audit staff.
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years of post-qualification experience in a Big 4 or equivalent firm.
- Exposure to KDN or Financial Services audit engagements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
