Key Responsibilities
- Lead assurance engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Perform review procedures in accordance with EY Global Audit Methodology (GAM) and standards.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with EY global assurance executives across Americas, Europe, and other geographies.
- Ensure compliance with EY Quality and Risk Management procedures in all engagement activities.
- Manage workflow, allocate resources, monitor performance, and ensure utilization aligns with engagement budgets.
- Standardize review processes and leverage best practices across aligned engagements.
- Mentor, coach, and supervise team members, fostering talent development and performance feedback.
- Identify opportunities to enhance GDS engagement scope and deliver additional value.
- Demonstrate professionalism, competence, and clarity in communication with global teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CPA with 1+ years post-qualification experience, or semi-qualified with 6+ years assurance experience.
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting and assurance standards, with IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP knowledge considered an advantage.
- Expertise in project management, leadership, and supervision of audit teams.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with EY audit tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead conversations confidently with stakeholders and spread a positive work culture.
