Roles & Responsibilities
AML Processes & Investigations
- Manage and resolve alerts/cases in line with the Assess, Analyse, Act (AAA) process.
- Perform complex product analysis and escalate issues when required.
- Implement and roll out Group and FCC processes across client engagements.
- Maintain and recommend processes to address financial crime risks in line with regulatory requirements.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Advise stakeholders on risk management responses to identified AML risks.
- Notify senior management and regulators of serious regulatory breaches and ensure prompt remediation.
- Analyze significant financial crime risk events, including cross-border activities, to ensure appropriate reporting.
- Apply FCC policies and procedures (AML surveillance, client screening, risk assessment) to mitigate risks.
Governance & Reporting
- Track key issues from FCC metrics, audits, and regulatory inspections; validate closure where necessary.
- Recommend control improvements, process enhancements, and simplifications.
- Support operational risk framework (ORF) controls and periodic reporting.
- Ensure proper escalation of risks and issues via quality assurance and governance channels.
- Prepare lessons learned from audits, FCC assurance activities, and investigations.
- Analyze and interpret data for management reporting and actionable insights on emerging risks.
Skills & Qualifications
- MBA qualified with 2–4 years of relevant experience in AML, compliance, or financial crime remediation.
- Strong understanding of financial crime regulations, AML frameworks, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and adhere to deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for client and regulatory engagements.
