Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst – Master Data Management at Flex Chennai, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and reviewing procedures for records including invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
- Performing reporting and research activities to support supplier scorecards and system updates.
- Entering, updating, and maintaining master data across business systems (e.g., warehouse, planning, operations).
- Maintaining logistics records such as inbound/outbound shipments and ensuring import compliance.
- Implementing and maintaining record-keeping systems in line with customs regulations.
- Updating and validating part number databases and master data collected from suppliers.
- Identifying mismatches, incompliances, and resolving discrepancies in vendor records.
- Preparing liability reports for excess/obsolete management, commodity risks, and logistics performance.
- Calculating cost savings/avoidance and preparing reports for leadership.
- Pulling reports from ERP systems, dashboards, and databases to support decision-making.
- Preparing recommendations and insights for management based on data research.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in materials management, procurement, or supply chain.
- Background in manufacturing or supply chain operations preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, procurement tools, and database management.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
