Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and test business continuity and emergency response plans across offshore operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and plan mitigation actions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams—operations, engineering, safety, IT—to integrate continuity processes.
  • Lead crisis simulations, tabletop exercises, and drills to validate response effectiveness.
  • Review and optimize response protocols and recovery procedures based on test findings.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and industry best practices in business continuity and resiliency.
  • Provide training and awareness sessions to ensure teams are prepared for disruption scenarios.
  • Prepare ongoing performance reports, readiness metrics, and improvement recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in business continuity management (BCM) frameworks, risk assessment, and crisis planning.
  • Fluency using BCM tools, risk modeling software, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset with ease in high-pressure situations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to foster coordination across diverse operational teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Continuity, Safety, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business continuity, emergency management, or operational risk—preferably within oil & gas or offshore industries.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor) are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ADNOC’s operational environment and resilience standards.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic skills are a plus.
