Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business teams to gather and analyze SAP PS requirements for project system enhancements.
- Manage client queries and provide ongoing support for SAP PS functionalities, including new developments and modifications within the SAP landscape.
- Coordinate seamlessly between Information Systems, Basis, and IT Infrastructure teams to ensure continuous support and system uptime.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of business processes related to Project Management, Sales, Material Management, and Production Planning to drive effective SAP PS solutions.
- Support SAP transport requests and configurations using SAP Solution Manager, facilitating smooth migrations from development (DEV) to production (PRD) environments.
- Handle SAP PS support calls and issues in strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Mentor and guide junior team members on functional and technical aspects of SAP PS.
- Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Monitor and optimize SAP process chains and background jobs to improve system performance and reliability.
- Analyze technical specifications and proactively identify performance-impacting issues.
- Leverage additional project management tools such as MS Project (MSP) and Primavera to enhance project planning and execution.
Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate in Systems or related field.
- SAP PS S/4HANA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an SAP PS Functional Consultant, with hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA.
- Practical knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Production Planning (PP) modules, especially Material Requirements Planning (MRP) integrated with SAP PS.
- Experience with SAP EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management) is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools like MSP and Primavera.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
