Key Responsibilities

As an SAP FICO Manager at Deloitte, you will:

• Lead SAP FICO implementation, upgrades, rollouts, and support projects with a focus on delivering business value.
• Design comprehensive SAP FICO solutions including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA.
• Conduct workshops for requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
• Define system architecture and configuration for SAP FICO modules to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PS.
• Guide data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects and collaborate closely with ABAP development teams.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements (e.g., GST, TDS, SOX).
• Mentor junior consultants and facilitate knowledge sharing across the team.
• Stay updated with the latest features in SAP S/4HANA Finance and lead innovation initiatives within the team.
• Support audit processes and internal controls aligned with organizational standards.

Required Skills & Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in SAP FICO, including functional and managerial roles.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre, Profit Centre, Internal Orders, COPA.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and integration with other modules like MM, SD, and PP.
• Strong expertise in financial compliance and statutory regulations including GST, TDS, and SOX.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex projects.
• Experience preparing functional specifications and coordinating with technical ABAP teams.
• Ability to manage project delivery under Agile and traditional SDLC frameworks.
• CA, MBA (Finance/Cost Accounting) or equivalent preferred.
• SAP Finance certification is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements.

Work Location & Work Model

• Based in Kolkata, India with PAN India client exposure.
• Hybrid working model tailored for flexibility and collaboration.
• Involves occasional short- and long-term travel to client sites.
