Key Responsibilities
As a Spartacus Consultant (SAP Composable Storefront), your primary responsibilities include:
- Developing and customizing SAP Composable Storefronts using Spartacus and Angular.
- Managing dynamic content rendering via CMS integration with SAP Commerce Cloud.
- Customizing UI components using TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
- Integrating frontend applications with SAP Commerce Cloud and third-party APIs.
- Working closely with clients to understand their eCommerce goals and translate them into functional storefront solutions.
- Implementing best practices for frontend performance, SEO, and responsive web design.
- Collaborating with backend teams, project managers, and architects for full-cycle delivery.
- Supporting Agile development sprints and participating in code reviews.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in SAP Commerce, Spartacus, and frontend development.
Required Skills & Technologies
- 3+ years of experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and Spartacus.
- Strong knowledge of Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, SCSS, and HTML5/CSS3.
- Proven experience customizing Spartacus storefronts (template, layout, component modifications).
- Hands-on experience with REST API integration and CMS-driven dynamic content rendering.
- Familiarity with Progressive Web App (PWA) development and mobile-first design.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of Composable Commerce and headless architectures.
- Experience in Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
Good to Have
- Exposure to SAP modules like Order Management, Personalization, or Marketing.
- Working knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud architecture (data models, catalogs, users).
- SAP Spartacus certifications or related SAP certifications are an added advantage.
