About the Role
As an SAP BODS Staff Consultant at EY, you will be part of the IT Consultancy Services team delivering innovative data integration and migration solutions using SAP BODS across multiple cloud environments. You’ll collaborate with global clients, contribute to high-performing project teams, and play an important role in helping organizations modernize their data systems.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery
- Collaborate with team members across various technical streams in cloud implementation projects.
- Interface with onsite coordinators and client representatives.
- Participate in technical design, development, and deployment of BODS solutions.
- Provide accurate work effort estimates for BODS components.
- Support global clients and travel to customer sites when required.
People & Culture
- Foster EY’s quality culture through best practices and continuous learning.
- Mentor junior project resources and contribute to team development.
- Participate in firm-wide training, engagement, and people initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) as a technical developer.
- Strong background in BODS design, architecture, and implementation.
- Proven experience in data migration projects with end-to-end implementation exposure.
- Ability to develop real-time interfaces using IDOC, BAPI, and SAP applications with BODS.
- Strong command of SQL and ETL troubleshooting.
- Experience preparing Technical Specification Documents (TSDs).
- Proficiency in BODS transformations, scheduling, and management console operations.
- Familiarity with SAP systems as data sources and targets.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and schema design.
- Experience with BODS installation and configuration preferred.
