Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management
- Lead and motivate drilling crews to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure Rig Supervisors and frontline leaders remain focused on safe, efficient rig operations.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce HSE policies and industry regulations at all times.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all rig operations.
- Client Relations
- Serve as the primary client liaison, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Represent Arabian Drilling’s commitment to quality and operational excellence.
- Logistics & Maintenance
- Oversee rig logistics, equipment maintenance, and operational readiness.
- Minimize downtime through proactive problem-solving.
- Performance Optimization
- Drive drilling performance improvements from spud-to-release.
- Implement strategies to reduce operational risks and inefficiencies.
Skills & Experience Required
- 15+ years of experience in drilling operations.
- At least 5 years as Rig Manager (onshore and/or offshore).
- Minimum 2 years as Rig Superintendent (preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to optimize drilling performance and minimize downtime.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- High School Diploma acceptable with strong industry experience.
- Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control Certificate (Supervisor Level).
- Stuck Pipe Certification and HSE training required.
