Key Responsibilities
- Perform time-series forecasting to predict contact center demand at daily, monthly, and multi-year intervals.
- Conduct data analysis, inferential statistics, and modeling to improve workforce planning accuracy.
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy, identifying drivers of variance and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated forecasts across multiple business lines.
- Present complex analytical results clearly to stakeholders, highlighting implications for business strategy.
- Identify opportunities to automate forecasting frameworks using Python or other analytics tools.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in demand forecasting and analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 3+ years’ applied experience in business planning, forecasting, or quantitative analytics.
- Hands-on experience in time-series analysis, regression, moving averages, exponential smoothing, and auto-regression techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SAS, with ability to generate descriptive statistics, inferences, and visualizations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpretive skills to extract insights from large datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey findings to senior leadership.
- Quantitative mindset with ability to align analytics with operational and financial business objectives.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, SparkML.
- Familiarity with SQL, Hive, Trifacta, Alteryx.
- Advanced understanding of call center operations, contact center metrics, and workforce planning practices.
- Applied technical skills in Python for forecasting and automation.
