Key Responsibilities
As an Associate – Controls Room Product Owner, you will:
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear understanding of requirements.
- Gather and elicit high-quality requirements, translating them into Epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Influence business users and development teams to align implementations with strategic objectives.
- Drive discussions during user story refinement, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
- Maintain change control processes and traceability.
- Collaborate with developers during system development and testing, clarifying queries and ensuring alignment.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in training documentation.
- Capture metadata for business and reporting concepts as part of user story documentation.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Master’s degree in Business Management/Finance or Bachelor’s in Commerce/Accounts (or equivalent).
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in Agile environments.
- Proficient in eliciting and documenting business and functional requirements via user stories.
- Experience with client and system migration projects.
- Knowledge of change management, UAT, project management, and data management.
- Strong expertise in JIRA, SharePoint, MS Office Suite, and collaboration tools like Lucid.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
